We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Asset Planner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our asset portfolio, ensuring that all assets are effectively utilized and maintained to maximize their lifecycle value. You will conduct thorough analyses to forecast asset needs, develop long-term strategies for asset acquisition and disposal, and collaborate with various departments to align asset management with organizational goals. Your expertise will be crucial in overseeing asset performance metrics and implementing best practices for asset management, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to inform decision-making. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining an asset inventory, performing regular evaluations to assess the condition and value of assets, and preparing detailed reports for management. You will also be responsible for coordinating with vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts, and managing budgets related to asset procurement and maintenance. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be liaising with cross-functional teams and presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you should have a degree in finance, business administration, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of experience in asset management or planning. Proficiency in asset management software and Microsoft Office Suite is required, and experience with project management methodologies will be an added advantage.
