We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Motorman for our Pure Car and Truck Carrier, with positions available starting in the middle of April. This role requires a thorough understanding of marine engineering and an ability to maintain and operate the engine room machinery efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of main propulsion machinery, auxiliary engines, and all associated systems onboard. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer and other crew members to ensure the smooth operation of all engine room activities and adherence to safety protocols.

Your primary duties will include routine inspection and maintenance of all machinery, troubleshooting and repairing equipment malfunctions, and assisting in the execution of planned maintenance schedules. You will monitor oil levels, coolant systems, and other vital parameters, while also maintaining accurate records of machinery performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards, thus contributing to the overall safety and efficiency of the vessel. Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential, as you will coordinate with other departments to facilitate seamless operations.

Ideal candidates will have a valid marine engineering certification, previous experience in a similar role, and a solid understanding of the operation of Pure Car and Truck Carriers.
